Owns more chairs than friends.
The workshop
Eleven at last count. Most of them I built myself, a few I rescued from the neighbours. The friends are great too, they just don’t stack as well.
I help founders and ambitious companies build brand identities that are made to last.
Even LundeI work with companies to define the core of their brand, then turn it into a clear visual system. The same way I build a table: structure first, finish last.

Bergen, Norway
It’s Bergen. One raincoat is a rookie mistake, two is optimistic. Four means there’s always a dry one waiting by the door.
Grandpa’s rule
The first thing my grandfather taught me in his workshop. Turns out it works just as well for kerning, grids and client briefs.
Design principles
If a layout needs a shadow to stand out, the layout isn’t finished yet. Good hierarchy does the heavy lifting on its own.
Design principles
Twelve columns, generous gutters, nothing fancy. Please don’t ask me to pick a favourite chair though. That one’s personal.
Personality
Norwegian by birth, deadpan by training. If you can’t tell whether I’m joking, I probably am.
Origin
Brown cheese on everything, hiking boots for every occasion and a deep respect for doing more with less.
The workshop
Oak, ash and the occasional mistake. Every piece teaches me something about patience that ends up in my design work.
Building a foundation for a brand that lasts
We start by measuring. Who you are, who you’re for and what you should never say. A clear brief is the blueprint every other decision is cut from.
A mark, a typeface, a palette. Few pieces, chosen carefully, so people know it’s you before they even read your name.
Every joint has to hold. Guidelines and a visual system that keep your brand looking like itself on a coffee cup, a website or a six-metre banner.
Trends wear off like cheap veneer. I design in solid wood: identities built to still feel right ten years from now.
